about weight loss,I’m diabetic?

and have high cholesterol ,an i have lupus,im on meds for all these things,
Question Details:my doctor has asked me to try and loose some weight, and do walking daily,well the walking i dont have a problem with that,i rather enjoy walking 20 min 3 times a day since i took in a rescued dog around xmas,was the best gift i have ever been given,but with my illnesses,i stay so tired all the time and i dont like to stand up and cook then clean up what ive messed up,im not lazy be any means,i try not to let these illneses get me down,but ive tried every diet at least ive tried 40 in 2 years and im just blah about food,what can any one reccomend to me on what i can eat thats not full of sugar ir salt thats easy to fix an i dont have to cook for hours an hours ,im a single person so i dont have to cook for any one else,but thats what im seeking from this answer yahoo thing,thanks
the lean meals have to much salt uhm cant do that
the nutrasystem diet im sure is great but its exspencive for someone lik me on a fixed income of 500 a month

i hate to cook, but i need to eat. i have been bodybuilding for about 5 years now, and in doing so i need to eat about 6 times per day. thats alot of food to prep each day. i have made things easier by cooking several meals at once and splitting portions up, also have found a few 10 minute meals i can whip up in a cinch if i am short on time and not planned ahead. my diet that i use is probably applicable to diabetics as it is mostly protein, vegetables, and complex carbs that do not spike insulin or blood sugars too badly. a few ideas for you.. i buy frozen boneless skinless chicken breast from my local wholesale store. it comes in a 20 lb bag and each breast is individually frozen. they are easy to cook and taste good as fresh chicken. i will pull a few out, and pan cook them in olive oil. in a second pot, i steam veggies for 10 minutes. in a third pot i cook my brown rice. it takes about 20 minutes to prep and cook, i get 1 hot meal fresh cooked, and 2 more to put in tuperware and refrigerate for later. cleanup is only another 10 minutes. if you want me to get into more detail on other things i found work for a single person to cook that is low fat low glycemic, feel free to email me and i will share most of my diet plan with you if it is something that you think could help.
