Cholesterol Diet/After a Stroke?

My mother had 2 strokes which has affected her going back to work. High Cholesterol does not run in the family. The doctors told my mother her Cholesterol was at 126 and they want her down to 70 to decrease her chances of having another stroke. She’s not overweight. Where do we find a diet that she can eat everyday, were having a very big problem with that. No one told us anything! She is taking Zocor. Unfortunately, my mother doesn’t like turkey or fish, and has been living on chicken which isn’t good. There must be something else she can eat and i’ve searched the net to find other foods, but it keeps telling me the same thing basically. I would like to hear from someone who knows more about this on a day to day basis if i could. I would really appreciate it. Can anyone help me PLEASE???
