KEN’s Easy Bake DEEP DISH PIZZA

When Barbie has Ken over this is what she fixes him for dinner. It’s definitely his favorite. Your kids will enjoy making this fu pizza too. It’s a favorite recipe for kids at our house.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoons Baking powder
1 dash Salt
1 teaspoons Margarine
2 1/4 teaspoons Milk
1 tablespoons Pizza sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons Shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and margarine until dough looks like medium-sized crumbs. Slowly add milk while stirring. Shape dough into a ball and place into a greased pan. Use your fingers to pat the dough evenly over the bottom of the pan, then up the sides. Pour the sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with the cheese. Bake 20 mins. Remove. Makes 1 pizza.

A great way to get kids to eat their vegetables!
Fresh Veggie Pizza broccoli

What you need:
1 ready made pizza crust
8 oz package cream cheese at room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1 envelope powdered Ranch dressing mix
2 cup raw vegetables, chopped fine ( we use broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes)

What you do:

1. Bake the pizza crust, without toppings, at 350 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
2 Stir together the cream cheese, sour cream, and dressing mix. Spread this on the crust.
3. Top with mixed vegetables.

Kids Fruitie Smoothie

Utensils
Blender or food processor
1 cup liquid measuring cup
1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon (optional)
4 medium-sized glasses

Ingredients
1 cup nonfat vanilla or plain yogurt or lowfat milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
2 ice cubes
Any fruit that you want to use (fresh or frozen)

Directions:
Rinse and pull of stems of any fruit that needs such attention.
Cut up fruits such as apples, mangos, plums, and pears.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Shut lid of blender (or processor) tightly.
Put blender (or processor) in place on stand.
Blend for about 30-40 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Toasty Apple Pies

6 slices Cinnamon-raisin bread (we use plain bread too, sprinkled with sugar cinnamon)
1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling, drained
6 slices cheddar cheese

Preheat your broiler. Place cinnamon-raisin bread on a baking sheet and lightly toast under the broiler. Watch it as this will only take a minute or two!

We sometimes just pop the bread into the toaster then butter it and sprinkle with sugar -cinnamon before doing the next part!

Remove the baking sheet from the broiler and top each slice of toast with an equal amount of apple pie filling and a cheese slice. Broil 2 to 3 minutes, or until the filling is heated through and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.Makes 6 slices

Chocolate Chip Bananas

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:
2 chocolate chip cookies
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1 banana

Directions:
1. Peel the banana. Then put all the peanut butter on the banana.
2. After that crush the cookies.
3. Last put all the chopped up cookies on the banana and then you have your snack.
