Congestive heart failure & pneumonia; I need to know how serious these two conditions are together, for a 54 year old male, that is considered morbidly obese, with high blood pressure and poor diet.
I did not know my father had congestive heart failure, but today he went into the hospital with this current condition as well as pneumonia, how serious is this situation.
Please be nice, I need to know about this ASAP!

He just went in today and my dad is very guarded with his health. The type that’s not sick until he’s really sick and worries about everyone else first.
They didn’t know what he had until, 10pm tonight. Then they gave him something to sleep. We will find out more tomorrow, but i want information now. It’s my dad, I’m sure you’d understand.
Hey you! I am so sorry to hear about your Dad being ill. I just lost mine in September and I am still deeply depressed over it. Being an ex-EMT I can tell you that pneumonia is easier for those with CHF to develop. It’s been a long time since I’ve worked in the field, but I found some great info for you on CHF and I think it will answer some of your Q’s.
