How many calories does an average 80 lb dog require each day?

I was reading a recent Halo article about healthy eating for cats, and apparently an average 10 pound cat requires 250 calories. How many calories does an average 80 lb dog need?
That’s why I said your average 80 lb dog. An average dog is going to play fetch every day, but he is not going to be running the Iditarod.

II am currently in school to be a Vet Tech, and I found a nutritional chart in my book that breaks it all down, but it doesn’t say a specific amount of calories

Nutrition Req. for Adult Dog
Calcium….0.5-8.5
Phos….0.4-0.8
Sodium….0.2-0.5
Protein….18-25
Fat….15-25
Fiber….5
Energy (Kcal/g)….3.5 and under

It’s different for puppies, active dogs, and geriatric and this is based on the dry food matter. If you want more info on how to figure it out you can e-mail me. Hope this helps!!
