is it more realistic to give low salt low fat diet to hypertensive patients than low salt alone?

To control hypertension one has to reduce the sodium level in the body.Since sodium level is very high in salt, and one can-not consume salt-less food, the diet given to hypertensive person is such as to reduced the salt content to lower the sodium level. On the contrary if we have salt alone it would amount to un-necessarily consumption of salt and so the sodium content which would again lead to high b.p.
