I don’t know much about strokes but I know it’s rare for her age, she said she is not sure if it was a stroke yet shes in the hospital still but she woke up numb in her arm and had speech problems could hardly talk. She is kind of overweight and i just want to know how I can help her, could her diet be the reason for this?
As far as I know, being very overweight can lead to Type II Diabetes, which in turn runs a higher risk of strokes. She needs a brain scan to see what’s going on there (as this is the origin of strokes), which she will probably be given by the doctors anyway.
Her diet could certainly be a factor, but you really need to chat to a medical professional about all of this. There’s no way this is normal for a 25 year old.
