I started the south beach diet 2 weeks ago. I haven’t really lost any weight. Maybe 1/2 a pound. I am pre-diabetic and have not cheated at all. I have held to the diet and thought of it as a new lifestyle for me. I only need to lose about 15lbs. Will I start to lose weight soon? Has anyone else had this happen? I would like to see just 1 to 1.5lb loss a week. I do some walking about 45 min. 3 to 4 days week. Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

a girl i work with lost 15 pounds on the south beach diet, she told me she blotted really bad at first and gained weight-water weight. But it came off within 2-3 weeks and shes lost the weight and kept it off…just keep it up!
