We’re going to start working on eating healthier in the new year, especially focusing on dinner. The problem is we both work and have two young kids, so whatever we cook at night is usually done very quickly. Since "bad" food is usually easier to make, that’s what we tend to gravitate to.
Does anyone have any ideas of any healthy, quick to make recipes for dinner? We do like to make chicken, pork and fish. Not real big red meat eaters. Any advice would be appreciated!
You could always add a side of vegetables to your main dishes.
Or, you said you cook with chicken and pork a lot, you could easily make a chicken or pork stir-fry.
If you don’t want the hassle of chopping up the vegetables you can buy them frozen at your grocery store.
All you would need is about 1/2 pound to a 1pound of chicken, same with the vegetables, and some stir-fry sauce.
Cook the chicken until golden brown, in another pan cook the vegetables, then combine together and add the sauce, heat until warm.
You can also find recipes online, google healthy recipes. Hope this helps.
