What are the other ‘rules’ for eating healthy?

Eat fish 5 times a week
Have 5 fruit and Veg portions a day
Have at least 2 litres (8 cups) of water a day (which a lot of can come from the fruit and veg you eat).
What other ‘requirements’ are there to achieving the optimum healthy eating?

My rules are much simpler. Eat all the vegetables you want. One fruit a day. All the water you can drink. Eat lean protien every day.

Avoid white food. This includes sugar, flour, rice..anything white..avoid in any quantities.

When you eat a meal..eat a portion the size of your fist. This is proper portion control and you don’t have to worry about counting calories.

I have lost 40 pounds just changing the foods I eat and how much.

I also believe in taking fish oil and a multi vitamin every night.
